Fire Marshal/Warden Training Course  (4hrs – £75 pp)

images (29)The 4 hour  Fire Marshal Training Course  is  delivered  at your workplace for a minimum of 4 delegates (Max 15) The course covers the role of the designated fire marshal (fire warden). You will learn about preventing fires, different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly.

Who should attend:

  • Persons who are responsible for overseeing fire safety in the workplace
  • Designated workplace fire marshals
  • Anyone member of staff that needs to know how to use a fire extinguisher.

What you will learn on the course.

The course will deliver an understanding of fire regulations and general fire precautions. It aims to provide you with the knowledge to  become a confident Fire Marshal.

  • Actions on discovering a firefireextinguisher
  • Common causes of fire
  • Fire drills and evacuation
  • Fire safety legislation
  • Fire safety precautions
  • The chemistry of fire
  • The role of fire marshal

Fire Awareness  Course  (1hr – £60pp)

fire door keep shutThe Fire Awareness course is designed to develop a persons understanding of fire and how fire can start.  It focuses on what they can do help  reduce the risks of a fire starting in your workplace, as well as actions they should take on discovering a fire or upon hearing the sound of alarm.

Who should attend.

  • All employees.

 Course content:

  • Understand the nature fire and common causes of fire
  • Understand the different types of fire extinguishers
  • Use this understanding to prevent fires and to protect yourself and others from risks of fire.
