 First For Safety Oxfordshire offer 3 First Aid Courses for children

relevant to their age:


90 min 'Mini First Aider' for 7 - 11 yrs

90 min 'Life Saver First Aider' for 11 - 16 yrs

45 min 'Mini, Mini First Aider' for 4 - 6 yrs


All 3 courses give children the opportunity to learn age appropriate basics in life saving skills, either in School or in a one off after school session. "Mini First Aider" and "Life Saver First Aider" courses are also available privately in the comfort of your home for your child(ren) and some of their friends. As Emergency Services workers (mostly Paramedics) ALL our Instructors are enhanced DBS checked.

All courses are very interactive, delivered by means of power point presentation with the use of CPR manikins for children to practice CPR and choking management. In schools, our Instructors ALWAYS require at least one TA or teacher to assist with 'crowd control'.

Course costs always include a complimentary Paediatric First Aid Manual for the school/host. First For Safety Oxfordshire do NOT run open First Aid Courses that individuals can book onto sorry.  All our courses are private with a min booking number.







'Mini First Aider' for ages 7 - 11 yrs

  1.5 Hour Course - Flat rate fee £140 + VAT for schools 

(£130 + VAT for schools for back to back courses)

(Max 20 children per course)


Mini First Aider is a basic, 90 minute introduction for children aged 7 -11 years to learn first aid. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies or unsuitable material. The course shows complete respect for the child’s ability and is designed to instil confidence in children to safely help someone who is poorly or injured.

COST:  Flat rate fee of £140 + VAT for a max of 20 learners aged 7 -11 years.

Price reduces to £130 + VAT per course for back to back courses in schools.


DURATION:  90 minutes including biscuit break.


HOME GROUPS – We appreciate that you probably can’t accommodate 20 children in your lounge! Therefore we charge a flat rate fee for home groups of £130 for a max of 10 learners.  First For Safety Oxfordshire do NOT run open First Aid Courses that individuals can book onto sorry.  All our courses are private with a min booking number.

  • SHORT BREAK for Children to have their own drink & a biscuit (or 2?) provided by First For Safety

  • Managing Bleeds

CERTIFICATION: All children receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the course – Forwarded on line in advance for addition of pupil names by school. Signed and presented by the Instructor at the end of the course.

In the future we will provide an interactive booklet with a short quiz for the children that will be sent online to schools so it can printed for every child to keep. This is not yet available sorry.

45 min course - Flat rate fee £75 + VAT for schools
(Max 20 children per course)

The specially designed ‘Mini, Mini First Aider' course for Children aged 4 – 6 years. This course is 45 minutes long and also includes a biscuit break provided by First For Safety.


The cost is a flat rate fee of £75 for the 45 minute session, for a max of 20 children.

For 2 x 45 min back to back sessions the cost reduces to a flat rate fee of £140 + VAT for schools.

HOME GROUPS – We don't normally run this course for home groups sorry as it's not cost effective for our instructors.
